महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-41, verse-18

अथ वैषा न ते भक्तिः प्रकृतिं याति भारत ।
मयैव कथितं पूर्वं भूलिङ्गशकुनिर्यथा ॥१८॥
18. atha vaiṣā na te bhaktiḥ prakṛtiṁ yāti bhārata ,
mayaiva kathitaṁ pūrvaṁ bhūliṅgaśakuniryathā.
18. atha vā eṣā na te bhaktiḥ prakṛtim yāti bhārata
mayā eva kathitam pūrvam bhūliṅgaśakuniḥ yathā
18. Or else, O Bhārata, this devotion (bhakti) of yours does not attain its true intrinsic nature (prakṛti). Indeed, I have said this before, just like the bhūliṅga bird.
