अतोऽन्यथाचरँल्लोके धर्मज्ञः सन्महाव्रतः ।

Therefore, anyone in this world who acts contrary to natural law (dharma), even while being knowledgeable of duty (dharma-jña) and having great vows (mahāvrata), attains the destiny of the wicked and also undermines their own well-being.
