महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-20, verse-17

एष ह्यैन्द्रो वैजयन्तो गुणो नित्यं समाहितः ।
येनासुरान्पराजित्य जगत्पाति शतक्रतुः ॥१७॥
17. eṣa hyaindro vaijayanto guṇo nityaṁ samāhitaḥ ,
yenāsurānparājitya jagatpāti śatakratuḥ.
17. eṣaḥ hi aindraḥ vaijayantaḥ guṇaḥ nityam samāhitaḥ
yena asurān parājitya jagat pāti śatakratuḥ
17. Indeed, this is the divine, victorious quality, always possessed. By means of it, Indra (śatakratu), having conquered the asuras, protects the world.
