महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-20, verse-12

ते त्वां ज्ञातिक्षयकरं वयमार्तानुसारिणः ।
ज्ञातिवृद्धिनिमित्तार्थं विनियन्तुमिहागताः ॥१२॥
12. te tvāṁ jñātikṣayakaraṁ vayamārtānusāriṇaḥ ,
jñātivṛddhinimittārthaṁ viniyantumihāgatāḥ.
12. te tvām jñātikṣayakaram vayam ārtānusāriṇaḥ
jñātivṛddhinimittārtham viniyantum iha āgatāḥ
12. We, who sympathize with the distressed, have come here to restrain you, the destroyer of kinsmen, for the sake of our kinsmen's prosperity.
