स हि वीरः प्रयास्यन्वै धर्मराजेन वारितः ।

Indeed, that hero (Arjuna) was restrained by King Yudhiṣṭhira (dharma-rāja) when he was about to proceed, [as Yudhiṣṭhira said], 'O Arjuna (Pārtha), those kings whose kinsmen have been killed should not be slain.'
