महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-73, verse-34

एतदाज्ञाय वचनं सर्वांस्तानब्रवीत्तदा ।
जीवितं रक्षत नृपाः शासनं गृह्यतामिति ॥३४॥
34. etadājñāya vacanaṁ sarvāṁstānabravīttadā ,
jīvitaṁ rakṣata nṛpāḥ śāsanaṁ gṛhyatāmiti.
34. etat ājñāya vacanam sarvān tān abravīt tadā
jīvitam rakṣata nṛpāḥ śāsanam gṛhyatām iti
34. etat vacanam ājñāya tadā sarvān tān abravīt
nṛpāḥ jīvitam rakṣata śāsanam gṛhyatām iti
34. Having understood this statement, he then said to all those kings, 'O kings, protect your lives! Let my command be accepted.'
