महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-18, verse-3

पापं चापि तथैव स्यात्पापेन मनसा कृतम् ।
पुरोधाय मनो हीह कर्मण्यात्मा प्रवर्तते ॥३॥
3. pāpaṁ cāpi tathaiva syātpāpena manasā kṛtam ,
purodhāya mano hīha karmaṇyātmā pravartate.

purudhāya manaḥ hi iha karmaṇi ātmā pravartate
