वैशंपायन उवाच ।
पितामहस्याथ निशम्य वाक्यं राजा सह भ्रातृभिराजमीढः ।
सौवर्णकांस्योपदुहास्ततो गाः पार्थो ददौ ब्राह्मणसत्तमेभ्यः ॥३४॥

34. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
pitāmahasyātha niśamya vākyaṁ; rājā saha bhrātṛbhirājamīḍhaḥ ,
sauvarṇakāṁsyopaduhāstato gāḥ; pārtho dadau brāhmaṇasattamebhyaḥ.

34. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, having heard the words of the grandfather, King Ājamīḍha (Yudhiṣṭhira), along with his brothers, Pārtha, gave cows provided with milking vessels of gold and bronze to the foremost Brahmins.
