महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-76, verse-16

इतीदं मनसा गत्वा प्रजासर्गार्थमात्मनः ।
प्रजापतिर्बलाधानममृतं प्रापिबत्तदा ॥१६॥
16. itīdaṁ manasā gatvā prajāsargārthamātmanaḥ ,
prajāpatirbalādhānamamṛtaṁ prāpibattadā.
16. iti idam manasā gatvā prajā-sarga-artham ātmanaḥ
prajāpatiḥ bala-ādhānam amṛtam prāpibat tadā
16. iti idam manasā gatvā ātmanaḥ prajā-sarga-artham
prajāpatiḥ bala-ādhānam amṛtam tadā prāpibat
16. Having thus comprehended this in his mind, for the sake of creating beings (prajā) for himself, Prajāpati then drank the strength-bestowing nectar of immortality.
