महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-295, verse-18

एवमेव च क्षेत्रज्ञः क्षेत्रज्ञानपरिक्षये ।
प्रकृत्या निर्गुणस्त्वेष इत्येवमनुशुश्रुम ॥१८॥
18. evameva ca kṣetrajñaḥ kṣetrajñānaparikṣaye ,
prakṛtyā nirguṇastveṣa ityevamanuśuśruma.
18. evam eva ca kṣetrajñaḥ kṣetrajñānaparikṣaye
prakṛtyā nirguṇaḥ tu eṣaḥ iti evam anuśuśruma
18. ca evam eva,
kṣetrajñaḥ kṣetrajñānaparikṣaye (sati),
eṣaḥ tu prakṛtyā nirguṇaḥ,
iti evam anuśuśruma
18. And in the same manner, when the knowledge of the field (kṣetra) is completely exhausted, this knower of the field (kṣetrajña) is indeed by its intrinsic nature (prakṛti) without qualities (nirguṇa)—thus we have heard.
