etau ubhau anādinidhanau eva īśvarau matau etau ubhau tattvasaṃjñau jñānacintakaiḥ procyete.

These two (entities) are considered to be without beginning or end, and indeed, as supreme controllers (īśvara). These very two are declared by the profound thinkers on knowledge to be the fundamental principles (tattva).
