महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-202, verse-24

ततस्ते दानवाः सर्वे तेन शब्देन भीषिताः ।
पेतुर्गतासवश्चैव विष्णुतेजोविमोहिताः ॥२४॥

24. Then all those Danavas, terrified by that sound, fell down lifeless, truly bewildered by the power (tejas) of Vishnu.
