महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-154, verse-24

कर्म यच्छुभमेवेह सद्भिराचरितं च यत् ।
तदेव ज्ञानयुक्तस्य मुनेर्धर्मो न हीयते ॥२४॥
24. karma yacchubhameveha sadbhirācaritaṁ ca yat ,
tadeva jñānayuktasya munerdharmo na hīyate.
24. karma yat śubham eva iha sadbhiḥ ācaritam ca yat
tat eva jñānayuktasya muneḥ dharmaḥ na hīyate
24. iha yat śubham eva karma,
yat ca sadbhiḥ ācaritam,

24. Whatever good action (karma) is performed here by the virtuous, indeed, the intrinsic nature (dharma) of a sage endowed with knowledge does not diminish.
