महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-6, verse-32

सोऽहमद्य महादेवं प्रपद्ये शरणं प्रभुम् ।
दैवदण्डमिमं घोरं स हि मे नाशयिष्यति ॥३२॥

32. so'hamadya mahādevaṁ prapadye śaraṇaṁ prabhum ,
daivadaṇḍamimaṁ ghoraṁ sa hi me nāśayiṣyati.

daivadaṇḍam imam ghoram saḥ hi me nāśayiṣyati

32. Therefore, I today take refuge in the great god (Mahādeva), the Lord. Indeed, he will destroy this dreadful divine punishment for me.
