महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-6, verse-31

तदिदं दैवविहितं मम संख्ये निवर्तनम् ।
नान्यत्र दैवादुद्यन्तुमिह शक्यं कथंचन ॥३१॥
31. tadidaṁ daivavihitaṁ mama saṁkhye nivartanam ,
nānyatra daivādudyantumiha śakyaṁ kathaṁcana.
31. tat idam daivavihitam mama saṃkhye nivartanam na
anyatra daivāt udyantum iha śakyam kathaṃcana
31. This withdrawal of mine from battle is certainly ordained by divine will. It is not possible for it to arise here in any other way than by divine decree.
