महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-216, verse-24

क्षिप्तं क्षिप्तं रणे चैतत्त्वया माधव शत्रुषु ।
हत्वाप्रतिहतं संख्ये पाणिमेष्यति ते पुनः ॥२४॥
24. kṣiptaṁ kṣiptaṁ raṇe caitattvayā mādhava śatruṣu ,
hatvāpratihataṁ saṁkhye pāṇimeṣyati te punaḥ.
24. kṣiptam kṣiptam raṇe ca etat tvayā mādhava śatruṣu
| hatvā apratihatam saṅkhye pāṇim eṣyati te punaḥ
24. O Madhava, each time this (discus) is thrown by you in battle against enemies, it will return to your hand again, having killed them irresistibly in combat.
