महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-146, verse-8

समर्थः पोषणे चासि सुतयो रक्षणे तथा ।
न त्वहं सुतयोः शक्ता तथा रक्षणपोषणे ॥८॥
8. samarthaḥ poṣaṇe cāsi sutayo rakṣaṇe tathā ,
na tvahaṁ sutayoḥ śaktā tathā rakṣaṇapoṣaṇe.
8. samarthaḥ poṣaṇe ca asi sutayoḥ rakṣaṇe tathā
| na tu aham sutayoḥ śaktā tathā rakṣaṇa-poṣaṇe
8. You are capable of nourishing and protecting our two children. However, I am not similarly capable of their protection and nourishment.
