महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-146, verse-35

एतत्सर्वं समीक्ष्य त्वमात्मत्यागं च गर्हितम् ।
आत्मानं तारय मया कुलं चेमौ च दारकौ ॥३५॥
35. etatsarvaṁ samīkṣya tvamātmatyāgaṁ ca garhitam ,
ātmānaṁ tāraya mayā kulaṁ cemau ca dārakau.

35. Having considered all this, and also that self-abandonment (ātmatyāga) is reprehensible, save yourself, the family, and these two sons through me.
