व्युष्टिरेषा परा स्त्रीणां पूर्वं भर्तुः परा गतिः ।
न तु ब्राह्मण पुत्राणां विषये परिवर्तितुम् ॥२२॥

22. vyuṣṭireṣā parā strīṇāṁ pūrvaṁ bhartuḥ parā gatiḥ ,
na tu brāhmaṇa putrāṇāṁ viṣaye parivartitum.

22. This is the supreme attainment for women: the husband is their ultimate refuge, as it has been traditionally. However, it is not for the sons of Brahmins to alter this matter.
