महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-146, verse-30

निःसंशयो वधः पुंसां स्त्रीणां संशयितो वधः ।
अतो मामेव धर्मज्ञ प्रस्थापयितुमर्हसि ॥३०॥
30. niḥsaṁśayo vadhaḥ puṁsāṁ strīṇāṁ saṁśayito vadhaḥ ,
ato māmeva dharmajña prasthāpayitumarhasi.
30. niḥsaṃśayaḥ vadhaḥ puṃsām strīṇām saṃśayitaḥ vadhaḥ
ataḥ mām eva dharmajña prasthāpayitum arhasi
30. The killing of men is certain, but the killing of women is questionable. Therefore, O knower of natural law (dharma), you ought to send me away.
