ततोऽहं सर्वभूतानां भावे विचरता शुभे ।
चोदिता तव पुत्रस्य मन्मथेन वशानुगा ॥८॥

8. O beautiful lady (śubhe), as I was wandering among all beings (bhāva), I was then compelled by the god of love (manmatha) and became subservient to your son.

8. אז, הו נעימה, אני שמסתובבת בעולם הרגשות של היצורים, נדחפתי על ידי מַנְמַטְהַא (אל האהבה) לבנך, והפכתי נשמעת לו.
