वैशंपायन उवाच ।
प्रबुद्धास्ते हिडिम्बाया रूपं दृष्ट्वातिमानुषम् ।
विस्मिताः पुरुषव्याघ्रा बभूवुः पृथया सह ॥१॥

1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
prabuddhāste hiḍimbāyā rūpaṁ dṛṣṭvātimānuṣam ,
vismitāḥ puruṣavyāghrā babhūvuḥ pṛthayā saha.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Those eminent men, having awakened and seen Hiḍimbā's superhuman form, became astonished along with Pṛthā (Kuntī).

1. וַישַׁמְפָּאיַנַה אמר, כשהתעוררו וראו את יופיה העל אנושי של הִידִימְבָּה, התפעלו הנמרים שבין בני האדם יחד עם פְּרְטְהָא.
