महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-112, verse-6

इमां च तावद्धर्म्यां त्वं पौराणीं शृणु मे कथाम् ।
परिश्रुतां विशालाक्ष कीर्तयिष्यामि यामहम् ॥६॥
6. imāṁ ca tāvaddharmyāṁ tvaṁ paurāṇīṁ śṛṇu me kathām ,
pariśrutāṁ viśālākṣa kīrtayiṣyāmi yāmaham.
6. imām ca tāvat dharmyām tvam paurāṇīm śṛṇu me
kathām pariśrutām viśālākṣa kīrtayiṣyāmi yām aham
6. And now, O broad-eyed one, listen to this righteous (dharmya) and ancient story of mine, a well-known one, which I will narrate.
