महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-112, verse-16

कामयामासतुस्तौ तु परस्परमिति श्रुतिः ।
स तस्यां कामसंमत्तो यक्ष्माणं समपद्यत ॥१६॥
16. kāmayāmāsatustau tu parasparamiti śrutiḥ ,
sa tasyāṁ kāmasaṁmatto yakṣmāṇaṁ samapadyata.
16. kāmayāmāsatuḥ tu tau parasparam iti śrutiḥ
saḥ tasyām kāmasaṃmattaḥ yakṣmāṇam samapadyata
16. Indeed, tradition (śruti) states that those two desired each other. Infatuated with desire for her, he contracted consumption.
