योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-22, verse-16

ये परां दृष्टिमायाता विद्धि तेषामपामिव ।
स्पन्दमस्पन्दनं सर्वमवेदनवशादिह ॥ १६ ॥
ye parāṃ dṛṣṭimāyātā viddhi teṣāmapāmiva ,
spandamaspandanaṃ sarvamavedanavaśādiha 16
16. ye parām dṛṣṭim āyātāḥ viddhi teṣām apām iva
spandam aspandanam sarvam avedanavaśāt iha
16. ye parām dṛṣṭim āyātāḥ,
teṣām apām iva iha avedanavaśāt sarvam spandam aspandanam viddhi.
16. Know that for those who have attained the supreme vision (dṛṣṭi), just like for water, everything here – both movement (spanda) and stillness (aspandana) – exists due to the absence of ordinary perception (avedana).
