अत्र जले हिमहेलाः पश्यैता अपहरन्ति सितपद्मान् ।
इच्छसि ता अनुगन्तुं नाहं ते वल्लभा व्रजामीति ॥ ७ ॥

atra jale himahelāḥ paśyaitā apaharanti sitapadmān ,
icchasi tā anugantuṃ nāhaṃ te vallabhā vrajāmīti 7

icchasi tāḥ anugantum na aham te vallabhā vrajāmi iti

7. "Behold, here in the water, these icy waves are carrying away the white lotuses. Do you wish to follow them? (If so,) I am not your beloved, and I depart!"
