शिखी वार्यपि नादत्ते भूमेर्भुङ्क्ते बलादहिम् ।
दौरात्म्यं तन्न जाने किं सर्पस्य शिखिनोऽथवा ॥ १९ ॥

19. The peacock does not even take water from the ground, yet it forcibly consumes a snake. I do not know if that depravity belongs to the snake or to the peacock.
