योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-27

कुम्भोऽपि तस्य कालेन नाशं नीतो रघूद्वह ।
यामेव दिशमादत्ते दुर्भगः सा हि नश्यति ॥ २७ ॥
kumbho'pi tasya kālena nāśaṃ nīto raghūdvaha ,
yāmeva diśamādatte durbhagaḥ sā hi naśyati 27
27. kumbhaḥ api tasya kālena nāśam nītaḥ raghūdvaha
yām eva diśam ādatte durbhagaḥ sā hi naśyati

27. O scion of Raghu, his pot too was eventually destroyed. For whichever direction an unfortunate person chooses, that very direction is surely destroyed.
