दीनो वासनया लोकः कृतान्तेनापकृष्यते ।

34. A person, wretched due to latent impressions (vāsanā), is pulled away by destiny (kṛtānta), just like a helpless bird, greatly gasping for breath, is pulled by a child with a rope.
