योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-18, verse-23

कारणानामभावेऽपि योदेति सहकारिता ।
तत्पूर्वकारणान्नान्यत्सर्वेणेत्यनुभूयते ॥ २३ ॥
kāraṇānāmabhāve'pi yodeti sahakāritā ,
tatpūrvakāraṇānnānyatsarveṇetyanubhūyate 23
23. kāraṇānām abhāve api yat udeti sahakāritā tat
pūrvakāraṇāt na anyat sarveṇa iti anubhūyate
23. kāraṇānām abhāve api yat sahakāritā udeti tat
pūrvakāraṇāt na anyat iti sarveṇa anubhūyate
23. Even in the absence of primary causes, whatever auxiliary support (sahakāritā) arises, that is not different from the prior cause. This is universally experienced.
