वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-89, verse-32

नैराश्यमुपगन्तुं ते तदलं मत्कृते ऽनघ ।
वधेन रावणस्याद्य प्रतिज्ञामनुपालय ॥३२॥
32. nairāśyamupagantuṃ te tadalaṃ matkṛte'nagha ,
vadhena rāvaṇasyādya pratijñāmanupālaya.
32. nairāśyam upagantum te tat alam matkṛte anagha
vadhena rāvaṇasya adya pratijñām anupālaya
32. anagha te matkṛte nairāśyam upagantum tat alam
adya rāvaṇasya vadhena pratijñām anupālaya
32. O sinless one (anagha), there is no need for you to fall into despair on my account. Fulfill your vow by killing Rāvaṇa today.
