शङ्के श्रुतो ऽयं वृत्तान्तो रामेण हरियूथपाः ।
तत् क्षमं नेह नः स्थातुं कृते कार्ये परंतपाः ॥१३॥

13. śaṅke śruto'yaṃ vṛttānto rāmeṇa hariyūthapāḥ ,
tat kṣamaṃ neha naḥ sthātuṃ kṛte kārye paraṃtapāḥ.

13. O monkey chiefs, I suspect that Rāma has heard this report. Therefore, since the task has been accomplished, it is not proper for us to remain here, O tormentors of foes!
