वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-54, verse-6

य एते राक्षसाः प्रोक्ता घोररूपा महाबलाः ।
राघवे निर्विषाः सर्वे सुपर्णे पन्नगा यथा ॥६॥
6. ya ete rākṣasāḥ proktā ghorarūpā mahābalāḥ ,
rāghave nirviṣāḥ sarve suparṇe pannagā yathā.
6. ye ete rākṣasāḥ proktāḥ ghorarūpāḥ mahābalāḥ |
rāghave nirviṣāḥ sarve suparṇe pannagāḥ yathā
6. ete ye rākṣasāḥ ghorarūpāḥ mahābalāḥ proktāḥ,

6. All these Rākṣasas, who are described as having terrifying appearances and immense strength, will become powerless before Rāghava, just as serpents are (powerless) before Garuḍa.
