वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-54, verse-20

एवमुक्त्वा तु वैदेही क्रोद्धात् सुपरुषं वचः ।
रावणं मैथिली तत्र पुनर्नोवाच किं चन ॥२०॥
20. evamuktvā tu vaidehī kroddhāt suparuṣaṃ vacaḥ ,
rāvaṇaṃ maithilī tatra punarnovāca kiṃ cana.
20. evam uktvā tu vaidehī krodhāt suparuṣam vacaḥ
rāvaṇam maithilī tatra punaḥ na uvāca kim cana
20. vaidehī maithilī,
evam krodhāt suparuṣam vacaḥ rāvaṇam uktvā tu,
tatra punaḥ kim cana na uvāca.
20. Having thus spoken extremely harsh words to Rāvaṇa out of anger, Vaidehī (Sītā), at that moment, did not speak anything further.
