मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-32, verse-8

अनन्तां वै प्रयच्छन्ति तृप्तिं गौरीसुतस्तथा ।
पितॄणां नात्र सन्देहो गायाश्राद्धञ्च पुत्रक ॥८॥
8. anantāṃ vai prayacchanti tṛptiṃ gaurīsutastathā .
pitṝṇāṃ nātra sandeho gāyāśrāddhañca putraka.

8. O son, indeed, there is no doubt that Gauri's son (Ganesha) and the śrāddha ritual performed at Gaya grant endless satisfaction to the ancestors.
