तथैकादशमासंस्तु औरभ्रं पितृतृप्तिदम् ।
संवत्सरं तथा गव्यं पयः पायसमेव वा ॥६॥

Similarly, sheep meat, which provides satisfaction to ancestors (pitṛs), (provides it) for eleven months. Likewise, cow's milk or rice pudding provides satisfaction for a full year.
