ब्राह्मणानां सहस्रेभ्यो योगी त्वग्राशनी यदि ।
यजमानञ्च भोक्तॄंश्च नौरिवाम्भसि तारयेत् ॥३०॥

30. brāhmaṇānāṃ sahasrebhyo yogī tvagrāśanī yadi .
yajamānañca bhoktṝṃśca naurivāmbhasi tārayet.

30. brāhmaṇānām sahasrebhyaḥ yogī tu agra-āśanī yadi
yajamānam ca bhoktṝn ca nauḥ iva ambhasi tārayet

30. yadi brāhmaṇānām sahasrebhyaḥ yogī tu agra-āśanī (syāt)
(saḥ) yajamānam ca bhoktṝn ca nauḥ iva ambhasi tārayet

30. If indeed a practitioner of yoga (yogī) is designated as the foremost eater (agra-āśanī) among thousands of Brahmins, then he rescues the patron of the Vedic ritual (yajamāna) and the other participants, just as a boat (nauḥ) carries passengers across water (ambhas).
