A king should acquire wisdom (prajñā) from diverse sources: from a prostitute, a lotus, a śarabha (mythical animal), a śūlikā (a cook's wife or specific type of woman), and from the breast of a pregnant woman; similarly, wisdom should be acquired from a cowherd woman.
