स कौमारकमासाद्य ऋतध्वजसुतस्ततः ।
कृतोपनयनः प्राज्ञः प्रणिपत्याह मातरम् ॥२॥

The wise son of Ṛtadhvaja, having attained youth and undergone his initiation ceremony (upanayana), then bowed and spoke to his mother.
