मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-4

द्रव्यस्यार्द्धं महाकोशात्तव दास्याम्यहं पितुः ।
धनं ते पितुरायत्तमनुज्ञाताऽस्मि तेन च ॥४॥
4. dravyasyārddhaṃ mahākośāttava dāsyāmyahaṃ pituḥ .
dhanaṃ te piturāyattamanujñātā'smi tena ca.
4. dravyasya arddham mahākośāt tava dāsyāmi aham
pituḥ dhanam te pituḥ āyattam anujñātā asmi tena ca
4. I will give you half of the wealth from your great treasury, belonging to your father. The wealth is dependent on your father, and I am permitted by him regarding it.
