मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
अथ साऽविक्षितो माता वीरा वीर प्रजावती ।
पुण्येऽहनि समाहूय प्राह पुत्रमविक्षितम् ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
atha sā'vikṣito mātā vīrā vīra prajāvatī .
puṇye'hani samāhūya prāha putramavikṣitam.
1. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca | atha sā avikṣitaḥ mātā vīrā vīra
prajāvatī | puṇye ahani samāhūya prāha putram avikṣitam
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Then, she, Avikṣit's mother, who was brave and had heroic progeny, summoned her son Avikṣit on an auspicious day and spoke to him."
