मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-23

राजोवाच ।
यदि सत्यप्रतिज्ञस्त्वं ददासि च किमिच्छकम् ।
पौत्रस्य दर्शय मुखं ममोत्सङ्गगतस्य तत् ॥२३॥
23. rājovāca .
yadi satyapratijñastvaṃ dadāsi ca kimicchakam .
pautrasya darśaya mukhaṃ mamotsaṅgagatasya tat.
23. rājan uvāca | yadi satyapratijñaḥ tvam dadāsi ca kim
icchakam | pautrasya darśaya mukham mama utsaṅgagtasya tat
23. The King said: "If you are true to your promise and will give whatever is desired, then show me the face of my grandson, who will be seated on my lap."
