मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-22

अविक्षिदुवाच ।
दातव्यं यन्मया तात भवते तद्ब्रवीहि माम् ।
कर्तव्यं दुष्करं वा ते साध्यं दुःसाध्यमेव वा ॥२२॥
22. avikṣiduvāca .
dātavyaṃ yanmayā tāta bhavate tadbravīhi mām .
kartavyaṃ duṣkaraṃ vā te sādhyaṃ duḥsādhyameva vā.
22. avikṣit uvāca | dātavyam yat mayā tāta bhavate tat bravīhi
mām | kartavyam duṣkaram vā te sādhyam duḥsādhyam eva vā
22. Avikṣit said: "Dear father, tell me what I am to give you. Or tell me what task I must perform for you, whether it is difficult, or easy to accomplish, or even something very difficult."
