कः किमिच्छति दुःसाध्यं कस्य किं साध्यतामिति ।
करन्धमस्य महिषी किमिच्छिकमुपोषिता ॥१७॥

kaḥ kim icchati duḥsādhyam kasya kim sādhyatām

“Who desires what, even if it is difficult to achieve? For whom should what be accomplished?” Thus (he said). Karandhama's queen fasted, desiring her specific wish.
