मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-12

सचिवा ऊचुः ।
राजन्वयः परिणतं तवैतच्छासतो महीम् ।
एकस्ते तनयोऽविक्षित्त्यक्तदारपरिग्रहः ॥१२॥
12. sacivā ūcuḥ .
rājanvayaḥ pariṇataṃ tavaitacchāsato mahīm .
ekaste tanayo'vikṣittyaktadāraparigrahaḥ.
12. sacivāḥ ūcuḥ rājan vayaḥ pariṇatam tava etat śāsataḥ
mahīm ekaḥ te tanayaḥ avikṣit tyaktadāraparigrahaḥ
12. The ministers said: 'O King, your age has advanced while you have been ruling this earth. And your only son, Avikṣit, has abandoned marriage.'
