मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-26

अविक्षिदुवाच ।
विषमं स्यान्महाराज यदन्यत्तत्समादिश ।
वैराग्येण मया त्यक्तः स्त्रीसंभोगस्तथास्तु सः ॥२६॥
26. avikṣiduvāca .
viṣamaṃ syānmahārāja yadanyattatsamādiśa .
vairāgyeṇa mayā tyaktaḥ strīsaṃbhogastathāstu saḥ.
26. avikṣit uvāca | viṣamam syāt mahārāja yat anyat tat samādiśa
| vairāgyeṇa mayā tyaktaḥ strīsaṃbhogaḥ tathā astu saḥ
26. Avikṣit said: "O great king, it would be improper if you were to command anything else. Sexual enjoyment has been abandoned by me due to detachment (vairāgya); therefore, let it remain so."
