मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-122, verse-25

राजोवाच ।
पापाय ब्रह्मचर्यं ते यदिदं धार्यते त्वया ।
तस्मात्त्वं मोचयात्मानं मम पौत्रं च दर्शय ॥२५॥
25. rājovāca .
pāpāya brahmacaryaṃ te yadidaṃ dhāryate tvayā .
tasmāttvaṃ mocayātmānaṃ mama pautraṃ ca darśaya.
25. rājan uvāca | pāpāya brahmacaryam te yat idam dhāryate
tvayā | tasmāt tvam mocaya ātmānam mama pautram ca darśaya
25. The King said: "This practice of celibacy (brahmacarya) which is observed by you leads to sin for you. Therefore, free your own self (ātman) and show me my grandson."
