महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-20, verse-32

दुर्योधनस्तु संप्रेक्ष्य भग्नं स्वबलमन्तिकात् ।
जवेनाभ्यपतत्तूर्णं सर्वांश्चैको न्यवारयत् ॥३२॥
32. duryodhanastu saṁprekṣya bhagnaṁ svabalamantikāt ,
javenābhyapatattūrṇaṁ sarvāṁścaiko nyavārayat.
32. duryodhanaḥ tu samprekṣya bhagnam svabalam antikāt
javenā abhyapatat tūrṇam sarvān ca ekaḥ nyavārayat
32. duryodhanaḥ tu अन्तिकात् भग्नम् स्वबलम् संप्रेक्ष्य,
जवेन तूर्णम् अभ्यपतत् च एकः सर्वान् न्यवारayत्
32. But Duryodhana, having observed his own army routed from nearby, swiftly rushed forward and, all alone, held back all of them (the advancing enemies).
