महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-20, verse-24

तच्छूलं सात्वतो ह्याजौ निर्भिद्य निशितैः शरैः ।
चूर्णितं पातयामास मोहयन्निव माधवम् ।
ततोऽपरेण भल्लेन हृद्येनं समताडयत् ॥२४॥

24. tacchūlaṁ sātvato hyājau nirbhidya niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
cūrṇitaṁ pātayāmāsa mohayanniva mādhavam ,
tato'pareṇa bhallena hṛdyenaṁ samatāḍayat.

24. tat śūlam sātvataḥ hi ājau nirbhidya

24. Sātvata (Sātyaki) indeed, in battle, having pierced and shattered that spear with sharp arrows, made it fall, as if bewildering Kṛtavarmā (Mādhava). Then, with another arrow, he struck him in the heart.
