महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-60, verse-6

हताश्वमञ्जोगतिभिः सुषेणः शिनिप्रवीरं निशितैः पृषत्कैः ।
प्रच्छाद्य नृत्यन्निव सौतिपुत्रः शैनेयबाणाभिहतः पपात ॥६॥
6. hatāśvamañjogatibhiḥ suṣeṇaḥ; śinipravīraṁ niśitaiḥ pṛṣatkaiḥ ,
pracchādya nṛtyanniva sautiputraḥ; śaineyabāṇābhihataḥ papāta.

6. sauti-putraḥ hatāśvam śini-pravīram suṣeṇam añjo-gatibhiḥ niśitaiḥ pṛṣatkaiḥ pracchādya,

6. The son of Suta (Karna), having overwhelmed Suṣeṇa—the hero of the Śinis, whose horses had been slain—with sharp, swiftly-moving arrows; then, struck by Śaineya's arrows, he (Karna) fell as if dancing.
